Hi.  It’s Pat Bayer at BVT Productions (a.k.a. Bayer Video Tours).

BVT is heading to Youtube and with that we have begun offering HD videos.  While an increase in cost at $125 compared to $100 for standard definition (which is what we currently use), we’re extremely excited about this switch and I hope you’ll be as well.  I’ll briefly touch on the top 4 things that are new with this switch but by no means the only 4.

-The ability for viewers to adjust the playback quality.  If they have a slow connection, not a problem, they can lower the quality a bit and play the video without waiting for it to load.  Or, if they have a faster connection, they can watch the video in full HD.

-Smartphone integration.  With the growing popularity of smart phones, youtube videos offer great playback quality with most phones allowing full screen playback.  Now if someone drives bye and sees the for sale sign out front, they can quickly get a walkthrough from right in front of the house.

-Sharing with your social networks.  Youtube makes it easier than ever to throw your video tour up on Facebook, twitter or many other social networks.  You never know where your next buyer is coming from.

-And the BEST AND BIGGEST thing about moving to Youtube is the overall quality.  At roughly twice the quality of the old videos HD looks amazing and I think you and your home owner will agree.
