I'm a relatively well read 28 year old who does not read the newspaper. Not only that, but I don't get the newspaper (at least not print) nor do I plan on getting one at anytime in my lifetime. The same holds true for my friends. It's not that we don't keep up on current events, it's just that the newspaper is old news and often extremely irrelevant. I can also assure everyone that I am not searching the newspaper for open houses. While I understand that some people still do look through it, that is often exactly all they're doing. They skim through it for an idea of what's out there. Is that worth the $65 (estimate) that it costs to put an open house ad in the paper each week? All because there is a minute chance someone will be interested. This seems archaic and becoming more so every week.
With this in mind...
We've gone and done it. We've partnered with Rochesterisopen.com, creating a custom video tour button for any houses that have a BVTproductions video tour. So if we do a video for your house, you'll get a custom link as well as the video tour opening directly on the site (other virtual tours will direct the viewer to another site with a new window). Our partnership is focused on ease of use and site integration as well as the highest quality experience.
Again, I understand homeowners like to see their listing in the paper . However, I hope you understand that as the next generation of homebuyers, we're not looking.
